Message:
No one has seen the fearless, one, and universal Creator. Only if one feels the presence of Parmatma, the Creator, everywhere and at all times can the Creator be obtained. One must free the mind of worldly desires, fears and anxieties; develop love and yearning for only Parmatma; realize that everything is at the will of the Creator; and detach oneself from all else. Without pretence and only through dedication and devotion can one be a true Vairaagi, living life while the mind and body no longer burn in the fire of worldly attachment.
Although everyone wishes for it, the state of Vairaag can only be attained when Parmatma grants grace of a true Guru. With the true Guru the path to Vairaag and Parmatma becomes simple, possible and intuitive.
Reflection:
Bhagat Kabir Ji describes Sri Krishna feeling joyous in the humble abode of Vidur while the materialistic wealth of the king could not compare with the love that Vidur could offer.
We can attempt to keep these teachings in mind and remind ourselves that everything is at the will of the Creator. We must work to keep our mental state and attitude balanced and indifferent to our experiences. We should practice gratitude and always strive to be happy and not let periods of difficulty challenge our ability to remain balanced, calm and peaceful.
