Message:
The One Universal Creator, Paramatma, is glorious and we can not express the Creator’s greatness or virtues. Paramatma has created such magnificence, beyond our imagination or wisdom, for us to appreciate. The Creator is our strength and essence of our being. We must not let our life’s challenges get in the way of appreciating Paramatma’s excellence. We should not lose sight of all that is worth appreciating and focus only on the challenges that we are facing.
Challenges make us humble; we engage in honest remembrance of Paramatma because we know that only Paramatma can bestow the blessings to rid us of our miseries. In more gracious circumstances we are less grateful, we feel elevated and less motivated to be true and committed to our devotion towards the Creator.
Reflection:
Sant Arjan Singh Ji expressed gratitude towards the Sangat and Sevadaars for their continued support. They reiterated how inspiring and strengthening it is to see everyone’s dedication. Reflecting on the kind words of Sant Arjan Singh Ji we too can step back for a moment and truly appreciate what we have gained. The global circumstances that we are living in today have allowed us all an opportunity to be humbled by all that we once took for granted and perhaps felt was insignificant.
Circumstances change and we are forced to adapt. Nothing that we acquire will remain constant so why take pride in those things? We should take pride in the Creator, the source of our unity, inspiration and strength rather than our worldly acquisitions that become the source of our ego, our pain and our sufferings.
While the Pandemic has taught us to live differently, the one thing that has remained constant is our Guru, their teachings, and the opportunity to connect with Paramatma through Satsang, Seva and Simran. This constant in our lives is perhaps the most important thing to be grateful for during this time
